Here is another spectacular sea stack on the rugged north coast of Norfolk Island. It was great to be able to explore this remarkable area from the sea. On this glorious day, the sun is shining brightly, beautifully highlighting all the vivid colours of this part of the coastline. It was immediately obvious to me why this formation has been named Elephant Rock! This was a difficult shot to achieve. I had to quickly shoot a series of six images - from the boat - so I could stitch them together later in post-production using a stitching program. This process only works if you have captured the original images correctly, but thankfully this one worked.
